Elephant Ninja

“thrILL! has written and drawn his own comics ever since the 4th grade much to the dismay of numerous teachers and advisors all the way through the collegiate level. At the University of Alabama, thrILL! published 2 comic strips- ‘Clowning Around’ and ‘Justin Tyme’ in the University’s Crimson White newspaper. Shortly after, Elephant Ninja Productions was formed by thrILL! and graphic designer extraordinaire Andy Cargile.

After transferring to the University of Akron, thrILL! was looking to do something different than the typical 3 panel sequences of the daily paper variety. He approached the University’s The Buchtelite newspaper about running a full comic book page a week to give more of an opportunity for storytelling. ‘No Man’s Land’ starred Scott thrILL! himself as well as a variety of other bizarrely fascinating characters who accompanied Scott as he wound up traveling through time and space. ‘No Man’s Land’ garnered a modest and dedicated following of fans who watched Scott battle animated chicken wings that were staging a restaurant coup and also Scott walking the halls of the Titanic in the moments leading up to its famed demise (which in this story was NOT from an iceberg, but an alien spacecraft). When the semester’s strips were finished, they were easily collected into a standard comic book.

thrILL! is currently in the planning stages of his next project- Children Of The Light- about a bounty hunter sworn to protect the lives of 3 children who happen to be the deadliest ninjas in the world and hold key roles in the End Times. ”
