Pinz & Needlz

Pinz & Needlz is thrILL!’s music production company specializing in the finest in hip hop bangers. After tapping out a beat on his Akai MPC 2000XL in the Danger Room, thrILL! teams up with his P&N co-d DJ Gitz to lay down the tracks in Logic and depending upon the project, add some turntable scratching.

After a brief but celebrated run with the conceptual mixtape kings known as The Schizophrenic Tenants under the alias V.O. tha Virtuoso, Scott thrILL! went solo and formed Pinz & Needlz and diverted his attention from the mixtape game to focus solely on beatmaking.

thrILL! has worked on projects ranging from fellow crew Phonologic’s debut “The Genesis EP” and follow-up album “Dead Precedence” to various advertising such as Hewelett-Packard’s Jay-Z HP ad that ran during the Super Bowl.

thrILL! most recently completed the Body Bags soundtrack where he successfully bridged the gap between conceptual mixtape and original studio album.  The Body Bags soundtrack has been described as HBO’s “The Wire” meets Deltron 3030 meets Jason Pearson’s hit comic book Body Bags.
